Grand reception for UNC President held at Noney

Imphal, March 26: The Reception and Homecoming programme of UNC’s President Gaidon Kamei was held today at his native village at Longmai(Noney) Bazar Marketing Shed.
The rousing welcome programme at his native village was jointly organised by Longmai Area Villages Council, Rongmei Naga Council,Inpui Naga Union,Naga Women Union Longmai Area,Longmai Bazar Board,Zeliangrong Students’ Union Longmai Area,Longmai Area Churches Fellowship.
Speaking on the occasion Gaidon Kamei said any sorts of problems and conflicts can be solved through political dialogue.
The UNC president term the their arrest as moral Victory.
“Under any circumstances Naga people will not compromise their interest and rights. The Land and Identity of Nagas will not be Compromise at any cost. The general public is the only strength for the Nagas struggle. People’s Force is the need of the hour”, he added.
Gaidon Kamei also encourages the gathering to go even to the jail for the sake of the Nagas Nation.
Hundreds of people from Noney area welcome him and garlanded with joy and happiness.
