Gaikhangam pays respect to our forefather for introducing Polo to the world

Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam  today said that Sagol Kangjei which is now known as Polo is a game played in Manipur since time immemorial. He pay respect to our forefathers who had handed over this game which has become a popular game of the present world. The Deputy Chief Minister was speaking on the 5th day of 9th Manipur Polo International 2015 at Mapal Kangjeibung.
He further extended his wishes to all the polo players who have come from different parts of the globe.
During the match T.Mangibabu, chairman of planning and development authority, M.Nara singh, Advisor of Manipur horse riding and polo association, MLA K. Ranjit were present during the match.
Today match was played between England and Thailand in the first round and in the second round India clashed Australia team.
