Imphal, Sept. 16: Shija Eye Care Foundation in associatin with Khurai Changangbam Gram Panchayat organized a comprehensive eye camp at Yangoi Ningthou Mandap, Khurai yesterday. According to a press release 186 nos. of patients were examined for eye related problems, 32 cataracts, 14 pterygiums and 2 DCR were diagnosed from the camp.
Dr. Sarda Ch. and Dr. Vikram Kh. (Consultant Ophthalmologist) along with other supporting staff of Shija Eye Camp foundation examined the patient, the statement added.
During the eye camp, 3 nos. of patients were transported to Shija Eye Care Foundation, Langol for the corrective surgery on the same day and the remaining detected patients are treated today.
