Imphal, Oct 12:

Federation of Haomee (FoH) today celebrated 7th Foundation Day at its General Head Quarter. The Foundation Day celebration was presided over by the President of FoH Sapamcha Jadumani Singh and was attended by leaders of various communities both from Hill and plain which have ‘Yek-Salai’. The meeting deliberated the invitation towards the indigenous people by armed Kuki terrorists and discussed strategies to counter the Kuki terrorist. Members present the present status of the state at which indigenous communities are restrained from entering Kuki dominated area and also extortion from passerby in the name of tax from the indigenous people.
A statement by Federation of Haomee said that it is not only the people of the region but also people across the world that believed that India will respect the political identity and preserved the political boundary which merged to the Indian Union after becoming a sovereign state.
There is no reason to believe that the demand for separate administration or Kuki Land will never be successful but rather it is more like digging their own grave. For years the ancestor of this land have handed down from generation to generations and for the protection of this land many lives have been sacrificed. Today too the indigenous people of the land are preparing to fight any attempt to distort the integrity of the erstwhile nations.
President of the Haomee reaffirmed the federation stand for the cause of the erstwhile nation.
