City-based scribes along with their family members had an opportunity for visual assessment and consultations from experienced ophthalmologists from Sankaradeva Nethralaya today (23 September 2019) at Guwahati Press Club.
Over 90 participants went through various tests and received necessary advises from Dr Harsha Bhattacharjee, President and Trustee of Sankaradeva Nethralaya, along with Dr Shyam Sundar Das Mohapatra.
Optometrists Ankur Kalita, Dimpi Devi and Roma Chetry from the premier hi-tech eye hospital and premier centre for postgraduate education in ophthalmology conducted various visual assessments along with blood pressure & sugar, where other health and communication officials
namely Dipjyoti Medhi, Mridusmita Sarmah with Arnab Das and Nipu Sarma were also present.
