Expenditure Observers meet Kangpokpi election team

Expenditure Observers for 2-Outer Manipur (ST) Parliamentary Constituency appointed by Election Commission of India (ECI) Dr Bhartendu Kumar Singh (IDAS) and Gaurav K Singh (IRS) visited Kangpokpi District today in connection to the ensuing 18th Lok Sabha Elections, 2024.
They were given a warm welcome by the District Election Officer (DEO)/Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mahesh Chaudhari (IAS) and Superintendent of Police (SP) Manoj Prabhakar (IPS), including district team members at the DC Office Complex.
The observers briefed the DEO/DC Mahesh Chaudhari and entire district election team for ensuing smooth conduct of election in the Kangpokpi District. They also took stock of poll related expenditure and other preparations of the district related to the Election Expenditure Monitoring team.
DEO/DC, Mahesh Chaudhari (IAS) briefed regarding the district polling activities to both the observers ahead of the first phase voting to be held on 19th of this month. Polling will be held at the 166 polling stations and 24 special polling stations of the three assembly segments of 46-Saikul (ST), 50-Kangpokpi and 51-Saitu (ST) falling within 2-Outer Manipur (ST) Parliamentary Constituency seat.
