Doctor blamed for the dead of a women

Husband of a lady identified as Yangoijam Ningol Nameirakpam Ongbi Piyasana today blamed the doctor for the cause of her death. In a press conference held today, Husband of the deceased lady Nameirakpam Biramani Singh of Thoubal Kshtri Leikai said that he took his wife Piyasana at around 2 pm of December 8, 2014 for medical test at Thoubal district hospital. At the district hospital a doctor on duty identified as Dr. Joseph gave her an injection without conducting any diagnosis and waiting for the labarotary test result. Biramani said that his wife was not that serious at the time they went to the district hospital. Later the doctor detained her for around 4/5 hours in the hospital and informed him that the case was serious and he was advice to take the patient to RIMS Hospital following that he took her to RIMS hospital as they did not provide them ambulance vehicle. However, when they reached at RIMS hospital the doctors at RIMS declared her dead. Biramani alleged that his wife died of the doctors negligence and demanded appropriate action against the doctor who had prescribed injection without proper diagnosis.
