BJP MLA Th. Bishwajit today stressed on the role of citizens in making the society march towards development.
“Development of a society depends on the people of the society, it is the people that have to strive hard for development and no outsiders will come to develop our society” Bishwajit said while speaking as the Chief Guest of the 3rd Genral Conference of the Manipuri Association, North East India (Manei) at Dharmsala Hall, Thangal Bazar today.
He also appealed the people to be united to fight against any odds and to restore peace in the region.
“Development is not possible without peace and people need to be united to restore peace in the region”, the BJP MLA said.
He further said that the state government needs to formulate a policy and program for the unemployed youth in order to avoid them from committing criminal activities.
