DC Bishnupur reviews Pre-Fabricated housing, felicitates JEE/NEET qualifiers

A site visit to Saiton and Phubala to inspect the ongoing construction of pre-fabricated houses was conducted by Pooja Elangbam, Deputy Commissioner of Bishnupur district today.
During the inspection, the DC reviewed the work progress of the infrastructural development in the area. Officials from the Manipur Police Housing Corporation Limited (MPHC Ltd.) briefed her on the construction details and project timelines in response to her queries.
Pooja Elangbam was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Toijam Opendro Singh and other officials from the District Administration.
Also on the same day, 44 students out of 50 trained at the Red Shield Centre for Excellence and Wellness (Manipur Super 50) in Bishnupur district, were felicitated for successfully clearing the JEE and NEET 2025 examinations today.
The event organised by Indian Army was graced by Pooja Elangbam, Deputy Commissioner of Bishnupur; Senior Army officials from Red Shield Division, Amarjeet, Additional Superintendent of Police and Dr Rohit Shrivastava, Director of National Integrity and Educational Development Organisation (NEIDO).
The ceremony was also attended by the students, their parents, and well-wishers, who came together to celebrate the hard-earned success of these bright young minds.
Speaking on the occasion, DC Bishnupur, Pooja Elangbam, congratulated the students on their accomplishments and expressed her appreciation for the initiative taken by the Indian Army and the dedicated staff of NEIDO, who have invested their time and resources in imparting quality education.
Pooja Elangbam also urged the students to support others in whatever way they can—to reach out, give back, and contribute meaningfully to society. She highlighted the importance of being kind, cherishing every moment of learning, and growing into individuals who bring positive change to the society.
During the ceremony, Army and Civil Administration officials congratulated the successful students and interacted warmly with their parents, acknowledging the sacrifices and support provided by families.
