Convenor of the Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS) and also the President of All Manipur Economic and Socio Cultural Organisation (AMESCO) B. K. Moirangcha passed away today at JNIMS hospital due to COVID-19.
He is survived by his son and wife. He originally hail from Kakching Bazar Khunyai Leikai in Kakching district. Moirancha has been working to strengthen the bondage of brotherhoods between the various communities of the state. He had spearheaded in many political issue concerning the common people of the state as and activist.
Various clubs and organisations have condoled the demise of BK Moirangcha . During the COVID-19 Pandemic he had volunteered as convenor of the CSOs in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. He along with other leaders had conducted various awareness campaigns to protect the people from the dreaded COVID-19 Pandemic but he finally contracted the virus and succumbed to the dreaded disease today.
