Bupenda Meitei inducted to AICC Executive Panel on Law, Human Rights and RTI

Ningombam Bupenda Meitei, an advocate at the High Court of Manipur, has been inducted into the Executive Panel of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) Law, Human Rights, and RTI Department. The appointment was made by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge as part of a broader reconstitution of the department.
A press release issued by K. C. Venugopal, AICC General Secretary (Organisation), confirmed that the Congress President approved the reconstitution on August 17, 2024. Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi has been appointed as the Chairman of the department, with prominent figures such as Salman Khurshid, Vivek Tankha, and KTS Tulsi included in the Senior Panel.
Ningombam Bupenda Meitei, who is also an AICC Member and Senior Spokesperson of the Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee, will serve as a Member of the Executive Panel alongside other newly appointed members.
