54 Battalion under the aegis of Sector Head quarter, Border Security Force, Koirengei conducted free medical camp and distributed sports items at SMI Orphanage Home, Churachandpur.
During the Camp Medical Officer and supporting staff of 54 Bn BSF provided consultation and free medicines to the inmates of the orphanage. Later, Sh MKT Simte, 2 i/c of 54 Bn BSF distributed various sports items to the SMI Orphanage. Speaking on the sidelines, he highlighted the various initiatives of Battalion through its Civic Action Programs for making cordial relation with the civil populace of the area.
