Blast at NPF MLA’s residence

Imphal, Aug 29: Unknown miscreants blasted a Chinese hand grenade at the residence of NPF MLA Samuel Risom at Dewhlaland in Imphal West district at around midnight yesterday. NPF MLA Samuel Risom (45) got elected from Ukhrul Assembly constituency but tender resignation along with 3 other NPF MLA at the backdrop of the tribal movement against the passing of the ILPS related Bill last year. However, Speaker of the Manipur Legislative Assembly is yet to accept the resignation letters.
No one was however injured in the blast. But splinters hit the front wall of his house.

It is condemnable act to throw bomb at the residential area. However, as per the criminal nature of NPF MLAs and their gang members, it may be part of inter gang war. Let NPF and IM gang be finished in such inter gang war.

NPF MLAs want to get power using Muivah gang during election. They will again lose when a new gang dominate Muivah gang. Muivah being old, all NPF political party members will get gun shot injury from the armed gang. It is better to remember that there is no short cut to success.
