Imphal, Jan 23: Central election Committee of the Bharitiya Janata Party (BJP) today officially announced the list of 31 candidates that will contest in the upcoming Manipur Legislative Assembly Election.
As per official release, the list of candidates was prepared and finalized during a meeting of the Central Election Committee of the BJP held on January 19 under the Presidentship of BJP National President Amit Shah, who is also the convenor of the BJP Election Committee. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and other members of the Central Election Committee.
