BJP alleges Manipur Government of giving vague statement on ILP

Imphal July 31: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Manipur Pradesh today alleges the state government of giving a vague statement in the House over ILP issue on the last day of the recently concluded Assembly Session.

During a press meet held today at the office of BJP Manipur Pradesh at Nityaipat, Th. Chaoba, President, BJP Manipur Pradesh said that even though the issue of Inner Line Permit system is becoming a burning issue. However, it is unfortunate that the state cabinet has no willingness to pressure to the central government in order to implement it in the state.

Th. Chaoba said that both the resolutions taken in the state Assembly to implement ILP in the state were because of the private member resolution proposed by I. Ibohalbi and L. Ibomcha.
