Thoubal,Nov.2: 26 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) organised a function at Wangjing High School in Thoubal District today paid homage to its martyr from Wangjing Rifleman (late) Narengbam Suresh Kumar Singh of 24 Assam Rifles who was killed in during counter-insurgency operation in Chandel on April 6, 2013.
The valour and contribution of Rifleman Narengbam Suresh Kumar Singh were remembered during the ceremony.
Sepoy, Late Suresh Kumar hails from Wangjing SK. Leikai and is survived by his wife N.(o) Bijaya and two Sons.
Family members of martyr and Teachers, Students and Non teaching of Wangjing High School attended the function.
