Assam Rifles continue social service at various places

 A  Career  Guidance  Workshop  was  conducted  by  Thoubal  Battalion  of  9 Sector  Assam  Rifles  under  the  aegis  of  HQ  IGAR  (South)  at  Yairipok  Company Operating  Base  in  Thoubal  district  on  27  August.  The  aim  of  the  event  was  to generate awareness among the student and youth regarding professional prospects available in today’s  progressive  world.  A  total  of  25  students  were  guided  and motivated  in  an  interactive  session  to  join  the  Indian Armed  Forces.  Students  were absolutely  enthusiastic  about  the  workshop  and  requested  the  Assam  Rifles  for conducting similar workshop in future.
On the other hand, Tulihal  Battalion  of  9  Sector  Assam  Rifles  under  the  aegis  of  HQ  IGAR (South)  organised  a  tree  plantation  drive  by  Nambol  Company  Operating  Base  in Maibam  Chingbang,  Bishnupur  district  on  27  August.  The  drive  commenced  with  a lecture on the importance of clean environment followed by tree plantation. A total 30 saplings were planted by the children of the village at the village community ground. The local populace thanked Assam Rifles for their initiative towards this noble cause.
Mantripukhri Battalion of 9 Sector Assam Rifles also conducted Awareness  program  on  27th  August at  Sawombung  Company  Operating  Base  in  Imphal  East  district.
