As a Part of Van Mahotsava, WBCC will plant 2000 tree saplings

Wildlife and Biodiversity Conservation Committee(WBCC) Manipur started planting  tree as a part if the Green Manipur Mission. The Committee aims to plants at least 2000 tree saplings at various places.

A press statement by WBCC Manipur said that every year in the month of July tree planting festival or “Van Mahotsava” is celebrate across the country. With the coming of the  “Van Mahotsava”, WBCC in collaboration with  Club/Organisation and Schools of Manipur, will plant  saplings to make the villages area green.

WBCC appealed people to joined the  tree plantation festival by planting sapling at various office, school, college and other area.
