Imphal, March 25: A combine team of Imphal East Commando and NAB along with the volunteers of Youth Voluntary Association, Kshetrigao seize two double barrel guns along with live ammunitions and large numbers of contraband drugs during a search drive conducted at Kshetrigao Awang Leikai at around 6 pm, yesterday.
The two double barrel guns along with 67 numbers of live ammunitions was seize from one Md Sherkhan (28yrs), son of Late Md Indan and the contraband drugs which includes 69300 numbers of SP tablets, 3000 numbers of N10 and 484 grams of Heroin No. 4 which was kept lock inside one steel trunk was seized from the residence of one Md Khursid Basai (30yrs), son of Md Rahman, both from Kshetrigao Awang Leikai in Imphal East.
A case has been registered for further legal action.
