Shillong, Sept 22: The states of the North-East is gifted with abundance of musical talents. To promote many such talents, a three-days statewide Musical Talent Hunt contest is being organized by the Assam Rifles at Laitkor, Shillong since yesterday.
A statement said First day of the event was dedicated to School Children’s , where participants from various Schools all over Meghalaya including the Students of Assam Rifles Public School showcased there Musical talent.
The event ends tomorrow with a grand Finale Extravaganza, where “The Battle of Bands” will see various musical bands of Meghalaya participating against each other to take home the Winning Trophy.
Assam Rifles appreciates and accolades each participating school in the 3-day event that is striving to showcase the young talent and providing them with a platform to build and hone up the musical talent that are hidden in the young children of today’s generation.
