Imphal, Sept 30: A Major of the Assam Riffle sustained serious bullet injury today morning after armed militant group ambush them Kamjong area in Ukhrul district.
Report reaching here said that suspected armed militants today ambush a convoy of 31 AR at around 4.30 am at Kamjong area. Major Mandeep Singh of C-Coy sustained bullet injury in the attack. He was immediately evacuated using a helicopter for treatment.
