Minority Morcha of Bharatiya Janata Party, Manipur Pradesh today came down heavily on All Manipur Minority Student Union (AMMSU) for boycotting the BJP Manipur Pradesh for not disclosing the details of the Naga Accord signed between the NSCN-IM and the Govt. of India.
Speaking to the media person convener of State Level Consultative Committee on Minority Affair, AR Khan said that BJP Manipur Pradesh has already expressed its stand on the issue. He said that the President of the BJP Manipur Pradesh, Th Chaoba had already met the central government representatives along with other leaders of the state BJP and had stated that the state unit will not remain silent if the territorial boundary of the state is disturbed by the ‘accord’ signed between the government of India and the NSCN-IM.
AR Khan further blamed the AMMSU for not studying the matter in depth saying that the union is misleading the people of the state by spreading false news.
He also said that AMMSU does not represent the minority people of Manipur as it is an organization set up by three or four people. He said the union did not consult with any of the leaders of the Muslim minority of the state while taking the decision for banned of the political party.
AR Khan also urged the Union to clarify over the matter.
