AMBA threatens legal action

All Manipur Bar Association threatened to take legal action against the government if Lamphel court is not renovated by the end of this year.Talking to a group of reporters this afternoon at Lamphel Court complex, President, AMBA, Kh. Mani said the condition Lamphel Court is in worse state. The chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Tamenglong district which is soon to be a district court has no Judge and has only three staffs; peon, bench clerk and receipt clerk. Kh. Mani further said the CJM, Tamenglong has been looked after by the judge of CJM Imphal East for more than two years. And most of the six districts and session courts have poor sanitary system, water leakages, poor infrastructure system and poor water and electricity facilities. He further said the concerned government authority must renovate and construct sanitary toilets before the end of this year or the association is all set to take legal action.
