152 Manipuris stranded at Kolkata left for Manipur

152 stranded Manipuris at Kolkata due to the lockdown in connection with the containment of the COVID -19 have departed today from Kolkata Bhavan in 26 vehicles including 2 buses. Those deported today were stranded at various places of Kolkata and after the government arranged for their travel they departed Kolkata at around 2.30 pm today. They are likely to reach Imphal day after tomorrow.

Meanwhile state government has been working out their safe passage by communicating to the Center, West Bengal Government, Assam Government and Nagaland Government. The state government is also making all arrangement for quarantine.
