Beware, some people spreading false propaganda about the ILPS agitation in the state

When the state is burning under protest demanding implementation of ILPS, some anti-social elements are spreading false propagandas in Popular Networking sites Facebook. This writer came across Pages spreading false rumour and hate speech about the ongoing ILPS protest,  writing stuff that Non-Manipuris are being asked to leave Manipur or else get killed by the indigenous people. Also it further said Houses are being burnt relating to this ILPS agitation and the Media are not covering it due to Political Pressure or in support of the agitation. Some further threatened that Manipuris living in other parts of India will not be safe, if such violent activities are continued. It’s high time Manipur Police Cyber Crime Unit, if there is any, start checking such activities in Social Media in this time of unrest or else such thing can lead to unwanted incidents. It may be mentioned that Social Media is the fastest and easiest way to get audience as it is the most widely used Medium. Also many people have the connotation that whatever is being posted on Facebook are true. Social Media play an important role in a protest or spreading a rumour as it is easier for an individual to gather information. Anything that is being posted on such Media need to be monitored during difficult times like now.
