International Federation of Film Critics to conduct Film Appreciation Course 2021

The International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI)-India chapter is organising the Online Film Appreciation Course 2021 from the 1st week of June 2021. Course Duration is eight weeks. The medium of instruction is English. The number of Online Sessions is 18. The duration of Each Session is 90 Minutes on every Saturday 3.00 PM to 4.30 PM and Sunday 11.00 AM to 12.30 PM. Registration Fee is Rs.500/-. There will be no Course Fee. The maximum number of participants is 50. First come first serve. Topics and List of Faculty Members will be mailed to the Registered Participants in due time.
Certificates will be issued to the Participants on completion of the Course successfully. Eminent professors from film institutes and universities and film scholars will teach the participants. Course materials will be provided to the participants. The objective of the course is to groom the film enthusiasts with the latest information of film appreciation and criticism for the promotion and development of film culture.
The academic council of FIPRESCI-India consisting of N. Vidyashankar: Course Coordinator, Manu Chakravarthy: Member, Minakshi Dutta: Member and Meghachandra Kongbam: Member designed the course.

FIPRESCI is an association of the national organizations of professional film critics and film journalists from 50 countries worldwide. It was founded on 6th June 1930 at Academy Palace in Brussels, Belgium. It has Jury in more than 80 highly acclaimed International Film Festivals worldwide. The India Chapter of FIPRESCI was founded in 1992 which is a Registered Organization (Regn. No-TVM/TC/7/2021) with Regd. Office at Sanduens Apt, Chirakkulam Road, Statue, Thiruvananthapuram-695001.
