Honb’le Sir,
I am writing to your Excellency to express my one earnest wish for my village. I wish my previous letter to you published by Imphal Times dated 19th Sept, 2020 wherein I stressed about the urgent need of a Community Hall by our villagers be taken into consideration at earliest.
To reiterate the facts, it was on the 22nd December, 2019 that our Community Hall was on afire. Aftermath the incident, we received a helping hands from our dear ones including from our surrounding villages. This of their immediate concern and support over our lost Community Hall had given us the courage to rebuild it in a manner that will looks better than never like before. We therefore began raising funds from all possible means and with that available amount we received, we started the construction Work on the 7th Sept, this year.
Until very recent week, we had installed 12 Pillars. Today, we are running out of financial funds. It is our ultimate courage to at least complete half of the Hall Construction within 2020 Christmas. Keeping our courageous intact, we have been working hard until very recent days. But now, we are facing financial shortage and materials; resulting to our work pending and therefore, your good Govt, People’s govt, under your competent leadership may kindly look into this of our utmost desire matter at earliest. Otherwise, our sufferings may still continues…
We have seen your tremendous work done to boost for the development of our State. We also believe in your endless efforts to fighting for rural development in state. We also know that, ever since your Govt came into power, lot of changes have been feel even at remote areas. Today, we, the people of Gelnal, the Village where you once laid your foot while you were on your maiden visit to Tamei years back, also like to feel your work without any delayed. Therefore, we appeal to you once again to consider how fair would be for a person of your stature to remain a deaf ear over the cry of your people.
