Staffs of Raj Medicity Hospital located at North AOC yesterday found a Chinese made hand grenade along with an extortion note from the hospital premises at around 8 pm.
Source said that the hand grenade and the extortion note were kept at the ground floor toilet of the Hospital under Imphal West Police station by unknown armed miscreants suspected to be KCP cadres as per the extortion note.
Later at around 8:40 pm of the same evening, both the hand grenade and the extortion note were retrieved by a team of Imphal West District Police Personal.
