In a significant step towards strengthening digital healthcare services, the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) Scan & Share Online OPD Token Generation System was launched today at District Hospital, Chandel by the Deputy Commissioner, Chandel, Hemant Kumar, IAS. The initiative enables patients to generate OPD tokens by scanning a QR code, thereby reducing waiting time and facilitating a easy registration process.
The launching was held during the District Level Felicitation Programme of KAYAKALP Award Winners 2025–2026-cum-Launching of ABDM Scan & Share, organised by the District Health Society, Chandel.
Deputy Commissioner, Chandel, Hemant Kumar, IAS , Dr. Joyson Mongsang, Chief Medical Officer, Chandel, Dr. Sarchung Moyon, Medical Superintendent, District Hospital, Chandel, attended function as Chief Guest, President and Guest of Honour respectively.
Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Commissioner congratulated the recipients of the KAYAKALP Awards and appreciated the dedicated efforts of healthcare workers in ensuring quality healthcare delivery. He stated that the introduction of the ABDM Scan & Share system would enhance accessibility to healthcare services by simplifying the OPD registration process and reducing patient waiting time.
