Cine Actors Guild Manipur is celebrating its 10th Foundation Day on September 24, 2015 with a mega event at MSFDS.
Speaking to the media persons in a press conference at the office of Film Forum Manipur, Lamphel, T Loken, President of Cine Actors Guild said that Cine Actors Guild Manipur was established in the year 2005 under the guidance of Film Forum Manipur.
Their main objective for this mega event is to recognize the upcoming artist. They also have submitted an application to the state government and a memorandum to Chief Minister of Manipur through Art and Culture of Manipur for announcing September 24 as the observation day of Cine Actors Guild Manipur in the future, said the President.
More than 70 artists will be participating in the event. During the event 6 actors including 3 female actors, Mangibabu (77), Kangabam Tomba, Huirem Manglem, Rashi, Rajani and Roma will be honoured and will be followed by a talent hunt program for the upcoming artists.
