ABVP Manipur to hold 11th State Conference from December 27

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad Manipur unit will hold its Eleventh ABVP Manipur State Conference from December 27 to December 29, at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Mantripukhri, Imphal.
Speaking to the media, ABVP Manipur State Secretary Gataam Philem said the organisation has been working for student and nation-building since its inception in 1948 and continues to engage students through educational initiatives, creative activities and democratic movements while remaining non-political.
He said around five hundred student representatives from colleges across all districts of Manipur are expected to participate in the conference, which aims to empower youth and promote leadership and social responsibility. Leaders from the national level of ABVP will also attend and interact with the delegates.
The conference will feature training sessions, workshops, cultural programmes and interactive discussions. Resolutions on key issues such as education, development of Manipur and environmental concerns will be adopted, reflecting the role of youth in shaping the future of the state.
