PDDUIAS, Utlou receives A+ (Gold) Grade as District Eco–SDG Champion 2025

Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Institute of Agricultural Sciences (PDDUIAS), Utlou has been conferred the A+ (Gold Grade) Award under the District Eco–SDG Champion 2025 initiative, recognising its outstanding performance among Higher Education Institutions in India. The Gold Grade, awarded for institutions scoring between 85 and 100 points, highlights PDDUIAS’ excellence in sustainability and social responsibility.
According to APEX SDG Trust and United Call to Action – District Eco–SDG initiatives, the institute earned the honour for its strong achievements in five SDG–linked domains: Environment and Climate Action, Civic Literacy and Public Safety, Community Engagement, Innovation and Green Economy, and Cultural and Local Tourism.
PDDUIAS, Utlou is regarded as one of the most promising agricultural institutions in the North East region, noted for its advancement in agricultural and allied education, research, and sustainable development. The institute stated that the award was made possible through the collective efforts and dedication of its Director, faculty members, staff, and students.
