47th Anniversary of PLA observed

The 47th anniversary of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) was observed across Manipur and abroad today, with active participation from various Party and PLA units, departments, and stations.
According to a statement by Roben Khuman, Deputy Secretary of Publicity of the Revolutionary Peoples’ Front (RPF), the celebrations were also held at divisions under the Central Bureau of the RPF. Ceremonial activities included the hoisting of the Party flag, display of festoons, and stars to mark the occasion.
During the event, members of the Party gathered to pay tribute to the founders and senior leaders of the PLA. A message from Acting President MM Ngouba of the RPF, highlighting the significance of the PLA’s 47 years of service, was read out to the attendees.
The anniversary underscored the contributions of the PLA over the decades, acknowledging its role in safeguarding the community, fostering unity, and preserving the legacy of the organization. The celebrations also reflected the continued commitment of its members to the principles and mission of the PLA.
