TYCM delegation meets Director of Tribal Affairs & Hills 

A delegation of the Tribal Youth Council Manipur (TYCM), General Headquarters, led by its President Momo Tantanga, held a meeting with the Director of Tribal Affairs & Hills Department, Government of Manipur, at the Directorate Office on July 25.
The meeting, which lasted for over two hours, focused on several key issues affecting tribal communities across the state. The delegation raised concerns over the acute shortage of manpower in the Directorate, the urgent need for renovation of the Tribal Market at New Checkon and the Girls Hostel at Old Lambulane, Imphal, among others.
Both sides engaged in detailed discussions aimed at identifying practical and timely solutions to the challenges faced by tribal populations. The meeting concluded on a positive note, with assurances for continued dialogue and cooperation for the welfare and upliftment of tribal communities in Manipur.
