A person identified as SP Kono (age 62 years) of Khubong Khullen under Chakpikarong Police Station today at around 9 am after he was carried away by the River current at Chakpi Bridge area which was washed away by the flood some days back. According to report reaching here the person tried to cross the River by swimming as he was in need of rice. People tried to prevent him but he tried to swim without listening to them.
