All Manipur Muslim Students’ Organisation (AMMSO) has raised concerns regarding the state of educational facilities in Thoubal District. In a press release issued from their headquarters in Hafiz Hatta, AMMSO announced that a team visited Thoubal Moijing High School, where they observed significant issues affecting the school’s operation and student welfare.
According to AMMSO, the visit revealed that the school has been operating below standards, with dilapidated facilities compromising the educational environment. The organization highlighted that the school is experiencing challenges that hinder academic progress. They noted that despite the school being categorized as a high school, the facilities have not been adequately maintained or upgraded.
AMMSO criticized the current lack of a headmaster at Thoubal Moijing High School, demanding that an appointment be made within one week to ensure effective leadership and management of the institution. They urged the concerned Education Department to take immediate action to address these issues, emphasizing the urgent need for improvement.
President Imtiyas Heibokmayum expressed that the absence of a headmaster is detrimental to the students’ academic careers and disrupts their learning environment. He stressed that students deserve better facilities and guidance from a qualified headmaster to enhance their educational experience.
The AMMSO has called for a prompt response from the Education Department and has committed to monitoring the situation closely to ensure that necessary actions are taken for the welfare of the students at Thoubal Moijing High School.
