9 (Nine) more candidates of the National peoples’ Party (NPP) has been announced today. This is the third lists announced by the NPP so far and source said that the NPP may announce some more candidates.
On January 24, the NPP announced 20 names of the candidates contesting at various assembly constituencies. In the 2nd phase list announced on February 1, name of 13 candidates was announced and today another 9 candidates are announced.
In the last list announced name of Yengkhom Erabot contesting from Wangkhei Assembly constituency, M. Rameshwar who is contesting from Kakching Assembly constituency were included both were BJP MLAs whose name has been left out by the BJP. Interestingly Sapamcha Kangleipal’s name has also been listed in the third list of candidates. He will be contesting from Lamlai Assembly constituency.
