Unknown miscreants reportedly abducted two civilians in between Gemol and Lhangjol village area at around midnight yesterday.
The two persons have been identified as Rajesh Singh (40) and Daniel Pamei of Silen Village in Churachandpur district. Source said that Rajesh Singh hails from Jharkhand and has been staying in Silen Village for the past ten years and is married to one Kuki girl identified as Nengneilam @ Lalam Haokip. An UG reportedly demanded a sum of Rs, Rs.50.00.000/-
The other person Daniel Pamei is also married to one Kuki girl and is a contractor at NHPC. He is presently living inside NHPC power project Leimatak Campus.
