CCpur, Aug 2: The Kuki Students’ Organisation (KSO), Sangaikot Block has condemned the July 31 night incident wherein a truck driver was assaulted and injured on Churachandpur-Sugnu road.
KSO Sangaikot Block general secretary John Mangcha said that on the night of July 31 around 8:00 pm a truck driver identified as Kapthang was harassed and physically assaulted by the unknown miscreants. The attack injured his head and knee and he received first aid from the 27 Assam Rifles, Sangaikot post.
KSO said the driver was attacked by the unidentified persons without any provocation.
Condemning the incident, the organisation urged everyone not to repeat such incidents in future
