Imphal, July 19: 24 hours after a team of Police and 12 Assam Rifles seized drugs worth more than 3 crore near Kwatha Junction, personnel of 12 Assam Rifles caught a person with gold bars and biscuits estimated to be worth around 2 crore 82 lakh from a man in Moreh, yeaterday around 3 pm. The captured man has been identified as Md Shajid Khan (38 yrs), s/o Late Md Khalid from Moreh Ward No. 5. Md Shajid was caught by 12 Assam Rifles personnel posted at Khudengthabi while carrying the gold items in a maruti van bearing registration number MN-01W -4277 while coming from Moreh towards Imphal
