They were handed over on suspicious ground – MLA’s PRO

Imphal, Dec 20: A press statement released by PRO of MLA Paonam Brojen Singh today clarified that the two persons were handed over to police by security escorts yesterday evening as they were found in suspicious manner. The statement said that when the MLA was in tour to take stock of developmental works at Tentha area, a numberless gypsy overtook them and parked in front of the MLA’s vehicles in suspicious manner.
The MLA escorts then check the vehicle but was found to be numberless. Deadly weapons like stumps were also found inside the gypsy. As there were incident of unidentified persons thrashing civilians, the security force left with no option but to hand over to the Khongjom Police station.
