Thoubal, Dec, 14: In support of the demonetization of high denominations decision of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led NDA government, members of booth level committee of polling 32/15 under Wangkhem Assembly has conducted a mass signature campaign today at Yairipok Singa Makha Leikai.
Executive Member of BJP Manipur Pradesh, Oinam Haridash; Ex-pradhan of Wangkhem, Gram Panchayat, S Modhuchandra and other BJP members of the assembly constituency attended at the signature campaign.
Addressing the gathering at the campaign, Oinam Haridash said that ceasing legal tender of Rs 500 and Rs 100 is a strong and promising step taken by the Prime Minister of India to put an end to the menace of black money in the country.
Manipur is infected with internal cold war and enmity among the communities, he said while adding that peace and tranquility of the state could only be restored only when the BJP came to power in Manipur. In this regard, it is very important to elect BJP candidate from Wangkhem AC in the 11th Manipur Assembly Election.The development works taking place across the state is not from the side of Congress government in the state, but all the money for development works are directly coming from Center to the state under the patronage of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
In all fronts, Haridash said, Wangkhem AC is one of the most underdeveloped constituencies in the state, while the present local Congress MLA is trying to worsen the pathetic situation of the A/C, he added.
Other BJP local leaders have also appealed to support the steps taken by the NDA government in the Center and extend support to BJP in the upcoming assembly election.
