Imphal, August 2: Maoist Communist Party Manipur (MCPM) has warned school traders from contesting the general assembly 2017 alleging them of using school students as shield while looting the public in broad daylight in the pretext of promoting and upliftment of the education system of the state.
A statement of the outfit said that the founders of the EK Higher Secondary School, Sangakpham, the Zenith Higher Secondary school, Airport Road and the Little Master Higher Secondary school, Samurou are preparing to contest the upcoming election after collecting huge amount of money from their respective schools.
The outfit terms their move as a means to reserve a place for themselves in the society so that they can earn more money and power with the support of the puppet government of India.
The rebel group said that these school founders have been using the students in the pretext of making education sector a free zone to loot the public in broad day light. While in reality they are converting the education sector into a business sector where they turn it as selling commodities.  Through means adopted in the name of promoting education like charging of excess fee, selling of school uniform and other compulsory item which were compelled to buy to students, these founders are looting the common people.
The outfit also stated that the founder of Zenith Higher Secondary school is an unfit teacher who trades his own service. It also expressed suspicion about his involvement in drug-smuggling in hands with those drug owners who were caught at Airport. On the other hand, the owner of the Little Master Higher Secondary school is also found to be unaware of human-value, who considered human life to be acceptable as there were evidence that he compromise life with money.
The outfit also charged founder of EK Higher Secondary school as traders of education sectors.
It further said that if these founders wish to contest the upcoming election they have to transfer their authority over the school to the public and handover the money collected and collected from the students to the people.
The outfit put these conditions as the only option if they want to go for election.
The party also warn serious consequences if any sort of protest against the dictate of the party is sponsored using meira paibi or students.
