Imphal, July 13: JAC against the brutal killing of Md Naoshad Khan today demanded immediate punishment of those responsible in the killing.
Speaking to the media persons at Manipur Press Club, Aribam Aziz Khan, Co-Convenor of the JAC said that the main accused Md Nasir Khan of the killing of Md Naoshand Khan who was granted bail on July 5 has been arrested again on July 12 by a team of Lilong Police led by Lilong OC Bangabihari from Pangei Haotal area while the other accused Md Sajish Alam who was sent to jail only for 38 days and later given bail is on the run.
As no accused are booked, the JAC appealed the concern authority to look into the case once again to bring justice to the deceased family.
The JAC further condemn the former OC of Imphal East for not taking serious to the case.
Md Naoshad Khan was found dead on April 2, 2015 at around 6 am inside his car with marks of brutally assault and bullet injury on his head.
