Know Your Defence Forces

Imphal, June 28: Noney Battalion of Loktak Brigade under the aegis of Red shield Division organised, “Know Your Defence Forces”, workshop at Haochong on 28 Jun 2016. Contribution of the North-Eastern states towards the armed forces is comparatively lesser,dueto lack of awareness and knowledge about the Defence Forces. In order to guide the young talent at the earliest, the battalion took upon this onerous task of guiding the youth of various schools in Haochong region and motivating them to join the armed forces. Post Commander,Haochong delivered a motivational lecture for the young students at the onset of the event, which was followed by a presentation on the various different kinds of entries available to join armed forces, for both boys and girls, Weapon display was also organised for the youths. It was an interactive event which drew much enthusiasm from all the students.Villager were thankful to the battalion for org the first of its kind event in Haochong.
