All Manipur Matam Isei Kanglup (AMMIK) is going to observe 12th Manipuri Matam Isei Numit on September 30 at Lamyanba Shanglen.Speaking to media persons today at a press conference at Manipur Press Club, General Secretary of AMMIK, B. Netachandra Sharma said that 30th September has been observing as Manipuri Matam Isei Numit for it was first introduced in the drama of Nar Singh on September 30, 1925. As a part of the function AMMIK will organise a grand finale of the talent hunt 11th best of AMMIK, in the later part of the function AMMIK will felicitate veteran eminent figures in various fields, added Netachandra. He added that the annual Life time achievement award will be honoured to the veteran Lyricist, Rajendra Okram. As a part of Best of AMMIK awards will be distributed to 1st, 2nd and 3rd winner of best lyricists and best composers.
