Imphal, Sept. 12: Under the aegis State Blood Cell, NHM, Manipur today Human Skill Empowerment Center (HSEC), Manipur in association with Department of Transfusion Medicines, RIMS has organised a voluntary blood donation camp at the premise of the Transfusion Medicines, RIMS.
Wahengbam Rorrkychand, Center Head of HSEC said that the camp was conducted in order to instil the sense of a responsible citizen among the trainees of the institute. The skill development center- HSEC is committed to impart life skills to the youths of Manipur and enable them to contribute for the betterment of the society. Conducting such camps would be beneficial to successful trainees of HSEC, who have undergone 3-months skill development training under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikash Yojana.
He also said that the skill development center would organise blood donation on regular basis for the trainees of HSEC.
Around 20 volunteers from HSEC donated blood at the camp
