Imphal, Sept 6: Socialist Students’ Union of Manipur (SSUM), Manipur Proletariat Peoples’ Democratic Union (MPPDU) and Struggle Committee Manipur (SCM) have formed a committee called Organizing Committee Lamyanba Irabot Observation Month.
In a press statement of the organisations, it is stated that Comrade Hero Meetei has been elected as coordinator of the Committee. Eight other committee are also form to make the monthlong programme a success.
The statement further said that on occasion of the 121st anniversary celebration of Lamyanba Irabot , awards on various field of journalism will be conferred to excellent journalists for their skill in reporting at various field.
