Imphal, Aug 3: So far 3 police personnel of Andro Police Station have been suspended over the death of a woman inside a toilet room of Andro Police Station. The deceased Mutum Ongbi Indira Devi (38 yrs), wife of M Ibohanbi Singh was found hung to dead inside the toilet room of the Andro Police station in a mysterious way on August 1 morning.
According to family source the decease woman went missing since July 25.
On the day, the dead body was found, Imphal East Police SP Kabib suspended 3 police personnel for misconduct and dereliction of duty. Those three police officer put under suspension are Sub Inspector L. Heramani, Asistant Sub Inspector H. Prakash Singh and lady police Soniya Devi.
Police are investigating over the cause of the death of the women.
