Film personalities join tree plantation drive

Thoubal, June.22: Seleibam Film Production organised a sapling plantation campaign at Kairembikhok in Thoubal district with the objective of saving environment and making air and water in our surrounding free of pollution. The participants at the campaign displayed placards which read “Plant Tree to Save Our Environment,” “Let Us Work Together to Preserve Ecological Balance,” “Save Forest,” “Let Us Plant Trees to Fight Deforestation,” and “W e Cannot Survive without Tree.” Several personalities of the Manipuri film industry including director and publicity secretary of PPC M, Jeetendra Ningomba, and actors Ashok Seleibam, Rendy , Biju, Narmada and Sunnykumar planted sapling at the event. Ashok, who is an important associate of Saleibam Film Production, said after the successful release of the first film under its banner , Arangba Sana, the second production of the company Phishakhol containing important messages about the fact that trees are the life of human being is on the anvil.
